To every cancer survivor, fighter, caregiver, and family member, I want you to know that you are not alone.

I am a survivor of two battles with cancer — colon cancer and breast cancer. I made it through with the help of God and the love, prayers, and support of my family and friends. My journey was not easy, but God remained faithful through every diagnosis, appointment, treatment, and recovery.

During the moments when I felt afraid or uncertain, I held on to God’s promise:

“Fear thou not; for I am with thee… I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee.”

Isaiah 41:10

When my strength felt limited, God carried me and placed praying people around me to provide encouragement and support.

Your diagnosis does not define you, and your present circumstances do not determine the ending of your story. Take each day one step at a time, celebrate every victory, and give yourself permission to rest and receive help.

Continue believing God for healing and restoration, because He declares:

“I will restore health unto thee, and I will heal thee of thy wounds.”

Jeremiah 30:17

Even when you cannot see what is ahead, keep stepping out in faith.

Today, I stand as a survivor and boldly declare:

“I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord.”

Psalm 118:17

Keep believing, keep praying, and keep moving forward. There is always hope beyond what you can see.
